you can select delete. If it is something important for the windows, then avast will tell you so.

The chest IS the neutralisation area. Threats can't do jack all there. avast! makes sure of that.

Make sure that the "Hide Inactive Icons" option in Taskbar and Start Menu settings.
If you still do not see the avast! icon, try opening the main avast! Antivirus window. If it STILL does not show, re-installing avast! may resolve the issue.
