expand the middle column in the startup list so that you can read the entire path. Then read all the entries and uncheck anything that you can not recognize, press apply, press close and restart the computer.

Guys ccleaner is somethin which can do the job for u..... i have used ccleaner before and it is not some kinda ad. for ccleaner. Just follow the instructions given on this video and it works out fine. just try changing the wallpaper a few times if the image on ur desktop does not go away. It works just fine. HOW I REMOVED ANTI-VIRUS XP 2008
ne way, I had this virus like 5 mins ago but I used malwarebytes' anti-malware (trial version = free) and it worked like a charm. wen u install, make sure to check the update box. run the quick scan and let it catch those viruses then just hit the remove button. after you remove the viruses, a log is created based on the results of removal. Restart ur comp 2 c if the chances worked and run the scan again if uwanna. THANK UWALWAREBYTES!!!1

I got this virus on my other laptop, for a while my laptop wouldn't even load. I tried downloading the software to remove Antivirus XP but it blocks the site and reroutes me elsewhere! Any idea how to combat that? I think this virus progressively gets worse, in the begining it didn't do that, shouldn't have ignored it :s
