I think most Dems of yesteryear would be at a loss to explain what's taken place. That said, if JFK were still alive, it's very possible that he too, may have devolved. It's not the vision of JFK that I grew up with. But, I can't picture him not standing shoulder to shoulder with Ted and the other Progressive Party members.

It just didn't start with Greenspan, its been going on since The Great Depression. The market has always been turbulent because of two huge problems. Credit to consumers, because the Fed can make unlimited amounts of money which hurts the dollar's worth. Secondly, fixed pricing, because of inflation. The housing bubble, gas prices, etc. have just been the symptoms of this great disease that's been going on for almost a hundred years. The bailout is just a remedy, not a cure to the problem.

Check out the vids of the Congressional oversight committee meeting in 2005 on Freddie Mac and watch the Reps screaming for controls and the Dems indignantly rejecting all of it. The name of the vid is "Democrats Covering Up the Fannie Mae..." Another vid it titled "Bill Clinton blames democrats...". Clinton clearly states in the Congressional Dems that are primarily to blame. Powerful stuff!

The video is extraordinarily slow to load. I did all the maintenance, re-booted and still it's loading at a snail's pace. This might be a good thing before I rate it. I've been a liberal all my life...little did I realize by identifying with any label has led me to mislead down many wrong paths.
